On June 27, 2010, competing among the best French riders in the motocross world championship, my life changed. I lose the use of my legs and become paraplegic. Operated several times, the doctors made me understand that I will probably never walk again. At that moment, I knew the path would be very difficult, but I decided to fight. A long and intense rehabilitation awaited me. Maintaining hope and motivation was essential.
Determined to find solutions to walk again, I began a program, alone, 10 times more intense than what the professionals had given me. I went way beyond what the doctors expected, and I think that's what saved me, because I considered that to get there I had to do a lot more. Through the development of my braces and hard work, I was able to achieve the impossible: walk again.

But how to overcome an ordeal like this…
With this accident, I was able to understand that my determination had to be stronger than everything else, and that only that could help me go as far as I wanted to go and keep my spirits up when everything seemed to be collapsing before my eyes. .

When I entered the rehabilitation center, the visualization method was unknown to me. However, I had developed it alone with the basics, as an autodidact. Determination has helped me do things I wouldn't have been able to do without this technique.
When we are faced with the wall, we look for resources within ourselves that we are not used to looking for. I had my goals, I didn't necessarily know which path to take, but I only had one thing in mind: to get there.

The Dakar 2020 was my first rally, I completely discovered this universe and this toughest competition in the world. I was facing very experienced pilots. I had a lot of confidence in myself, because even if we didn't all have the same means, I would compensate with my mind.
And when we look at the result, we can see that the determination was stronger than the rest. I hadn't had the same training, nor the same budget, but I had something else: the desire to win. This is exactly what gave me the strength to get there, of course accompanied by the whole team and my co-driver, with whom we were able to achieve incredible teamwork.

In our current society, managers are giving more and more freedom to their employees. The goal is to achieve a goal, regardless of the method. A technique will not necessarily suit everyone to find a certain solution. It's like in sport. To be an Olympic champion, there is no one method that fits all. Everyone has personalized training. And unfailing determination.

The goal is the result, not the method. And determination allows us to get there.
